The First Skadar Oak Planting Action

The first planting action of young Skadar oaks, grown throughout the year in our nursery, has been successfully organized. We planted together with students from rural elementary schools in the Danilovgrad area, their teachers, and members of the NGO Visit Danilovgrad.

Around thirty students decided to adopt several oak saplings each, which they will plant with their parents in their own yards. In doing so, these students have taken the first step towards restoring Skadar oak forests — forests whose shade will one day be enjoyed by future generations of students and children.

So far, citizens have picked up around 200 oak saplings to be planted across the Bjelopavlići and Zeta plains. If you would like a Skadar oak to grow in your yard too, get in touch, pick up your sapling, and raise an oak!
